Villa Björkudden is Tynningös and one of the archipelago's most exciting and beautiful summer pleasures. Built in 1897, as part of the world exhibition in Stockholm, and moved to Tynningö in 1898 to be builder Johan Sjöqvist's summer fun. Villa Björkudden is located in a magical place out on a headland with a jetty and fantastic views of the water. In addition to a strangely interesting history and soul, this extraordinary house also has magnificent living areas in combination with an abundance of bedrooms and amenities, which means that the whole family or circle of friends can stay for socializing and archipelago life. Large jetty facility with associated sauna house and jetty pavilion. Car ferry from Norra Lagnö and only 40 minutes to Stockholm's inner city. The property has a tennis court (not full size), boules court and large lawn facing the water. At the pier there is also the bridge pavilion and the sauna house, with a wood-fired sauna, which creates additional social areas. Sailboat depth at the pier means that you can get from Stockholm's inner city by boat and have the entire Stockholm archipelago at your disposal. The house also has beautiful and unique glass art works created by well-known glass artists Kjell Engman and Bertil Vallien.
